Max depth: 35m / 115ft General profile: 20m / 70ft for 45 min

This dive site is situated on the south western side of the resort and is the furthest away. Hard corals flourish in the shallow water on top of the reef and colourful nudibranchs are found in many nooks and crannies. Large patches of staghorn stand in contrast with the smooth areas of brain coral and beautiful plate corals. Several lionfish, emperor angles and juvenile triggerfish find a home amongst the coral. Like most dive sites around Vatulele, there is always the opportunity to go down the sloping wall to explore the hidden treasures below 18m/60ft. Here you will find large individual soft corals and very big gorgonians anchored in the sandy patches below the reef. Several schools of fish are usually spotted on this dive – parrot fish, red bass, rainbow runners, four striped snappers, fusiliers and a few white tip reef sharks to complete the picture.
