Luxury tropical island accommodation somewhere between five stars and heaven
Huka Levu / 4 Sisters
Max depth: 40m / 130ft General profile: 33m / 110ft for 10 min and slowly working your way up to the top of the reef in 5m / 15ft
A single stand alone pinnacle forms the basis of this dive, with 3 smaller pinnacles adjacent. As you descend, you can see the perfect round bommie, about 20m in diameter, covered in healthy hard corals and a variety of reef fish. You will also see several clams on top of the bommie and a single large blue clam waits at 19 m. As you descend deeper, hard corals are replaced by large gorgonian fans in yellow, green, orange and bright red, interspersed by a variety of soft corals in purple, yellow, red and orange. Red sea whips with light pink feeding polyps form hiding places for yellow and brown damsels while leather jackets dart in and out of staghorn corals. This is a beautiful dive, ideal for wide angle photography deep down and macro during your safety stop.
