In front of Vale Viqi a few loose standing coral pinnacles create excellent dive sites with fans, soft corals and many small reef fish. Between the main pinnacle and the inner reef, several large yellow fans thrive in the current. A short swim from this pinnacle will bring you to the outer reef with its soft corals and at a depth of 24m you will find a small cave filled with fans, white and yellow soft coral and bright red sea whips. Some blue sea whips and many crinoids can be seen feeding in the current. Don’t forget to look into the blue every now and then as you may spot some barracuda, tuna or walu passing by. Our safety stop brings us back to the main reef where untouched hard corals flourish. Anthias and tiny damsel fish dash in and out of staghorn coral and a variety of crinoids with small clingfish sit on the very edges of the reef.
